Radio Controlled Space Rover

I provide a lot to the astronauts. I can be used by the astronaut to help him using his tools easily. I aim to follow the astronaut carrying their tool to make him move more freely. also, I have an arm with several modules like (scoop - drill - gripper) that can help me to fulfill several tasks.in addition to this, I'm able to take samples from any surface and store it in my sample box to be analyzed.


My Main Parts

Body And Control

We have developed Curious Body to be able to adapt with different surface also we have designed a modified wheels in a way which we can disassemble and replace. Our Rover is also provided with a control unit which is controlled by orders the astronauts send and responsible for controlling every part of the robot.'s.

Toolbox And Sample Box

we have created a toolbox in the shape of a cylinder and divided it into partitions to save more space and help the robot recognize each tool to pick it up for the astronaut. also, we have allocated a sample box to store any samples to be analyzed.'s.

Arm

The arm takes samples and stores them in the sample box, It is designed to accept more than one tool and perform more than one function, such as : 1) Tongs 2) Gripper 3) scoop 4) Rake 5) Drill's.
